Maddy's English Project

Not every project gets recognition, but this 28 page poetry packet demands some! Maddy had to write journal entries/poems and make an interesting cover that reflects her style. I say this pretty much sums her up, Pink, Zebra, Ballet, and a sparkly M!!!

Make Up week at PM

Jordan let some of the more advanced girls do make-up on her. She is was a pretty Kitty one day and had day of the dead skull make-up the next. She looks so cool in the day of the dead make-up.

Craft Hope Stockings

Izzy and I made a couple of stockings for a Craft Hope project. We had some donated fabric from Gma Hansen and I made a pattern out of a file folder. We added some batting to the front and a little ruffle.

Maddy's 15!!!

Maddy turned 15!!! I can't even believe it. She is loving her life!! Having so much fun at school, seminary, young women's and with all her friends. We started the day with a 6am breakfast party, yummy crepes. Then she had her family party.

Back to School-2011-12

These two beauties started back to school much earlier than usual. They started in AUGUST!!! That is way too early to start school in my opinion. But they are looking adorable and WAY too grown up!

2011 Garden

Our Garden has not been that great this year since we got a late start.

We have only had a few cucumbers and a ton of yellow cherry tomatoes.

But things are shaping up with the big tomatoes and the tomatillos and the peppers so maybe we will have some late summer salsa!

Big Time Rush

Maddy and Izzy got to see Big Time Rush in the fair.

Daddy got them so fun VIP tickets so they got to sit on a platform and had a great view.

Utah Fun

The Girls went to Utah with Grandma Hansen for Cousin Camp,

then we got to pick them up for a Hansen Family vacation.

We had so much fun in the back yard with a Giant water slide and

then we went to Lake Jordanelle, which was beauiful.

Giants Game

Nathan and I went to a SF Giants game to celebrate his 40th birthday.

It was so fun and we got some great pictures.

Turning the Big 40

This cute guy just turned 40!!!

He is so lucky he had a special rocket cake, made by Grandma Hansen with 40 actual candles!!

It did melt the bottom of the cake, but the rest of it was tasty,

especially with some homemade chocolate mint ice cream from Grandma Barney.

Moro Bay

We went on a little camping trip to Moro Bay, with

Grandma Barney, Michelle, Win, and Randy.

My Grandparents used to live there when we were little and my mom thought it would be fun to have a vacation there with the girls. Jordan had been there when she was little, but she did not get to go this time ;(. It was our first big trip without her there.
