We went to Pajaro Dunes right after school got out for 3 glorious days!!! I really wish I could live there. It is so beautiful. The weather is perfect for mom and day, but our beauties felt it is a was little too cold and prefer the So-Cal beaches. We all do love to be at the beach though.

Girls Camp
Maddy and I had a great time at Girls Camp this year!! Our theme was, 'Like a Lighthouse'. Maddy got to go on her 3rd year overnight hike!! She was not very excited about staying out over night and not having a toilet to use, Oh and the hiking part, but she did it!!! I am so proud of her. She was faced with something she didn't really want to do, but she put her mind to it and had a great time. Maddy does want to point out that even though the hike wasn't that bad, but she doesn't want to do it again!!
I was so proud of those girls, as I am every time I see them walking back into came singing the Liahona song. They just put on those big packs and faithfully follow their leaders off into the mountains, knowing they will be protected by the priesthood who give up their time and come back dirty and with these huge smiles on their faces knowing they just accomplished something they were all doubting they had the strength to do. I love Girls Camp so much and am so grateful that my girls have the opportunity to go and grow not only as people but as Daughters of our Heavenly Father.

She did it!!
Yeah!! Jordan got her drivers license!!! She was nervous because she got the same guy that did not pass her before, but she did great and only missed a couple of little things. We are so proud of her. I have to admit I am a little scared to have her out on the open road all alone, but on the other hand I do need some milk..........

Gentlemen behavior & Fun Times!
Isabel came home from school and said the nicest thing happen to her. I was, of course, interested by this statement. She said that she came back from reading group and the class was doing group activities, the teacher told her which group she was in and the boy, who Izzy thinks is very handsome, says oh Isabel take my chair I will get another one. She was so touch by this gentlemanly action that she could not stop talking about it. I told her that was a very nice thing to do. But now I am a little concern that this boy is making a move to have Isabel be his special friend that is a girl. Yikes!!! Third grade, I am so not ready for her to be making the boy transition yet.
Other news, Jordan got the job!!!!!!!!!!! She is now a member of the promotional team with the Modesto Nuts. She will be working before and during games with the mascot, Wally the Walnut, and at community events when the team is out of town. If you want to come to a game and see her in action let me know. ;)
Madison turned in her high school ballet today. I can not believe she is starting high school next year. Double Yikes!! I am getting old. ;( She is going to be in the Forensic Program. It is a four year program that has additional science and preps for forensic college programs there last year. Maybe she will be Dr. H, (like the coroner on TV, Dr. G. in case you don't watch that show) She is very excited. And has straight A's this quarter. Yeah Maddy!

Spring Time
I love Spring. This weekend there was no rain!! It was nice to get outside and get our yard in shape. The early garden is in and the summer veggies are starting to sprout. Nathan has been working hard to get the back yard looking lovely. I think it helps him with stress to dig up the dirt and mow the lawns and fuss over the weed/grass ratio. I am just grateful for the results. I will clean the inside of the house all year long to not have to mow. I only enjoy the fluff of gardening planting, watering, pulling easy weeds, harvesting, etc...
After a busy day of yard work Nathan BBQ some chicken, to was so yummy.
Jordan had her first paying job interview yesterday with the Modesto Nuts. She is excited of the opportunity to have a fun summer job. If she gets the job she gets a few free tickets, so Nathan is totally excited. Baseball for free. Isabel thinks she will get free cotton candy or an slushy so she is excited, Maddy could care less because she doesn't like baseball. As for me, I have happy that she has so many wonderful opportunities to learn and grow, but I am still wishing for the days when she would play dress up and the farthest she would go was to stay at Grandma's for the night. There were no boyfriends, no college applications, no jobs, no driving, just lots of Barbie's and make-up, there has always been make-up where Jordan is concerned! Those days are stored away in my memory where all three of our beauties will always be 4, where everything is pink, sparkly and beautiful.
